FIRE PREVENTION
The shop is equipped
with two types of fire extinguishers: dry chemical extinguishers for class A,
B, C and some class D fires, and carbon dioxide extinguishers for class B and
C fires. The carbon dioxide extinguishers have the advantage of being less messy,
but are often less effective for all types of fires.
All precautions must
be taken to ensure that combustible materials are not left around the shop and
the following precautions MUST be taken:

all flammable waste
liquids are contained in sealed units

no open flame in
the shop area

extinguishers are
readily available in all areas of the shop and customer service area

oily rags are kept
in sealed bins
